MST 300 Rhetorical Criticism

Fall
4

IN Rhetorical Criticism, students will identify and analyze the sophisticated ways that rhetoric moves bodies to action by symbolic means. In an increasingly mediated world, students will approach criticism simultaneously as a scholarly art of cultural analysis and as a pragmatic mode of civic engagement. In MST 300, students will develop skills as critical observers and scholarly writers while exploring a broad range of methods used in rhetoric, media, and communication studies.
