MUSC 204: Understanding Musicianship

The development of musicianship skills is a life-long journey for musicians at all levels. This course is an introduction to the concepts
and the various approaches used to describe music, to create music, and to perform music. Listening skills and analytical skills will
develop the ability to “think in sound” and use an appropriate musical vocabulary. The development of aural skills and keyboard skills
will reinforce each individual’s performance area.
