For the student interested in art as a vocation, for teaching, or for further study in graduate school, a program of studies is preferable. The following courses are required.
A total of forty-eight (48) credits as follows:
- Studio Art: two of the following 100-level courses: 101, 105, 107.
- 485, 486.
- Art History: 151, 152.
- Three additional courses in studio at the 200 level or above (at least one of which must be at the 300 level)
- Three additional courses in the department of Art and Art History (of which no more than one may be Art History with the exception of the Art 260-Curation in Context course, or by petition.)
