This is the undergraduate version of the graduate course BUS 643. Undergraduate students will complete all of the course requirements with the exception of the course project.

An advanced study of conceptual and practical aspects of cost accounting. Topics include, but are not limited to, measurement of organizational performance, resource allocation, activity-based costing, break-even analysis, process costing, cost variances, transfer pricing, and choosing among alternative projects. Emphasis will be placed on understanding the organization as a control system.
