An advanced, theoretical course for German majors toward the completion of the capstone project. The first half of the semester is dedicated to study of theoretical methods of literary analysis, the toolbox of cultural studies, and the protocols of archival research. The second half of the semester involves capstone writing and cohort workshopping of the capstone. All students are expected to present their capstone research project at the Rhodes Symposium. This course is taught and conducted in German. The format of instruction may vary.
