This course provides a formal introduction to infinite ordered lists of values (sequences) and their sums (series) and is appropriate for students who have taken or are currently taking Integral Calculus (Math 122) or its equivalent. Topics include concepts like convergence and divergence, different types of sequences (for example, arithmetic and geometric) and series (for example, power series and Taylor Series), and methods to determine whether a sequence or series converges or diverges. This course provides a foundation for further study in calculus and related mathematical fields.
