This course is designed as an introduction to the theory, technique, and technology associated with modern music production in both the home and professional studio environment. Topics include basic musicianship, MIDI, digital audio, synthesis, sampling and mixing. Upon completion of this course, the participant will not only understand how music is produced but they will be able to produce their own beats and songs.
