The course may focus on a central philosophical figure (e.g. Kant), a specific period (e.g. medieval), a major movement (e.g. empiricism), or a specific theme (e.g. procreation). Recent 401 courses include The Ethics of Captivity and The Ethics of Identity. Offered intermittently.
