Requirements for a Major in Spanish
A total of thirty-six (36) credits above Spanish 202. At least five courses must be completed at or above the 310 level. Required courses are the following:
- Spanish 301 or 302. (the other may be taken as an elective)
- Spanish 303, 306, and 486.
- Four elective Spanish courses numbered 310 or above.
- Any remaining credits required to reach 36 total above Spanish 202 can be achieved by one of the following or a combination of more than one of the following: An additional elective Spanish course numbered above 202, INTD 294 - Encountering Other Cultures: Pre-Departure, and/or INTD 295 - Encountering Other Cultures: The Return.
