Requirements for a Major in Spanish

A total of thirty-six (36) credits above Spanish 202. At least five courses must be completed at or above the 310 level. Required courses are the following:

  1. Spanish 301 or 302. (the other may be taken as an elective)
  2. Spanish 303, 306, and 486.
  3. Four elective Spanish courses numbered 310 or above.
  4. Any remaining credits required to reach 36 total above Spanish 202 can be achieved by one of the following or a combination of more than one of the following: An additional elective Spanish course numbered above 202, INTD 294 - Encountering Other Cultures: Pre-Departure, and/or INTD 295 - Encountering Other Cultures: The Return.
