Laboratory experiments emphasize the complete analytical process, including sample collection, chemical preparation and workup, and quantitative analysis. Experiments include calibration of laboratory glassware, volumetric analysis, introductory instrumental methods, and inquiry-based experimental design. Three hours of laboratory per week.
