This course explores the nexus of community health and creativity. The course meets during five full-day Saturday workshops. Between in-person meetings, students are required to attend virtual chats with experts in the field. Through project-based learning and artistic mediums, students will learn how to craft policies, amplify community narratives, and foster spaces of belonging. Participants dive deep into the synergy of public health, grassroots organizing, and creative advocacy to champion transformative community change.
Prerequisites: HLEQ 210 or URBN 235 or permission of instructor
