Located in Washington, DC, Students will engage in daily seminars exploring foundational ideas, interests, and institutions in the American political system. Seminars will be paired with site visits to engage with practitioners working in a variety of professions including government, the private sector, and the non-profit arena. The cornerstone seminar will include directed and intentional opportunities for students to gain familiarity with the city of Washington and the surrounding region, by utilizing small group exercises to discover more about the city by visiting major sites, cultural institutions, and places of local interests, while also providing students with an opportunity individually and collectively reflect on such discoveries.
