LANG 240 Language Aquisition and Pedagogy

This course is a survey of a range of issues related to language acquisition and teaching. Among the areas covered are instructional methodologies and approaches, second language acquisition theories, language skill development, language teaching and learning technology, communicative and cultural competency, and assessment.

If you are an Educational Studies major on the Teaching and Learning track, you must be co-enrolled in EDUC 360 Clinical Field Experience while taking this course. Additionally, you should be taking this course after having completed EDUC 355 Principals of Curriculum and Instruction.
