MST 300 Rhetorical Criticism

In Rhetorical Criticism, students will identify and analyze the sophisticated ways that rhetoric moves bodies to action by symbolic means. In an increasingly mediated world, students will approach criticism simultaneously as a scholarly art of cultural analysis and as a pragmatic mode of civic engagement. In MST 300, students will develop skills as critical observers and scholarly writers while exploring a broad range of methods used in rhetoric, media, and communication studies.
