The Urban Studies Internship provides students with supervised, hands-on experience in organizations working on issues related to cities, communities, and social justice. Possible placements include nonprofit organizations, government agencies, advocacy groups, and community development initiatives. The internship emphasizes reflective practice, connecting fieldwork with academic learning, and preparing students for careers in urban planning, public policy, health equity, housing, and related fields.
