This course is for advanced teacher licensure candidates who are currently enrolled in clinical field experience (EDUC 360). This course examines issues central to creating an inclusive classroom for a learners with varying needs. Heavy emphasis will be placed on case studies to examine issues such as behavior management, teaching children in poverty, meeting needs of exceptional learners, and creating differentiated learning environments. Teacher candidates will have assignments to be completed at their clinical field placements.
