Analysis of the essential structures, actors, and policy processes in international economic relations. Special attention is given to the historical evolution theories of international political economy as well as the current issues that preoccupy the attention of officials worldwide. A major concern of this course is how to reconcile the simultaneous effects of global economic integration and political fragmentation. What is the present state of affairs and what is the future going to be like?
