The Department of Religious Studies promotes the academic study of religion by offering courses that explore the diverse aspects and experiences of global religious traditions. Particular emphasis is given to the origins and history of different religious traditions, as well as the continuing influence that different religions exert on contemporary cultures and societies. Religious Studies courses welcome students with any faith commitment (or none at all).
